Fishing.....perfect way to spend time;)
Day before, i went with my friends to one of my other friends pastures about 30 mins from College Station. I'm not much of a nature-admirer but this place was calm and pretty in its own way. My friend had brought a couple of fishing poles with her...so now there was one more activity that i had no clue about but dared to venture...they taught me how to toss the pole into the lake and sit and wait there for fish to get lured into the hook...
and so i waited and waited ......AND WAITED.. no fish..just bunch of grass, some weed, moss and sticks...!
At one point I lost my patience and I got back to the car, thats when my friend revealed the actual idea behind Fishing..!!
She asked me, "how many of them who go fishing, do u think, manage to actually catch a fish or go to fish actually?"
n i said " i thought all of 'em"!
she laughed..and continued "..well since you are feeling bad about it, i'll tell you the secret, Fishing is just another name to sit there by a lakeside and not do anything and yet convince yourself and the others that you are not so jobless"...!!
Me: and What do you tell people when you get back?
She: That you caught plenty of them and let them back in !!!!!!!!
Wow! So now i see, what all that "Hey i went fishing all of saturday " meant!..
I 've heard that so many times before and I thought to myself, Gosh, look at me, sitting at home and doing nothing when people go out in the sun and actually sweat it out! I have hated myself for lazing around and being jobless on weekends..but not anymore! Now I am also wondering if that's from where the nursery Rhyme 'one two three four five, once i caught a fish alive ' ...'then i let it go again'...was inspired!
Ya whatever...but guess what, am going Fishing this weekend..need i say more? :)

thats a news for me indie..."fishin for jobless"...i thought the same before that those who fish are professionals...soooo, how many fishes did u not fish indie???;-) i liked the FISHING blog...fun reading it...
