Harry Potter fans stay away!

Now, whats so amazing about the Harry Potter series, i still wonder. I guess if I have not even read one page of any of the Harry Potter s, it warrants no talking about it, but much as I try to reason this out, hmm..the more i fail to understand. Whenever I ask the Harry Potter-fanatic friends of mine, they all just have one answer, "Its so engrossing, takes you to a different world, you just cant put the book down until you have read it all"! and then they look all misty and dreamy like they ARE in a different world. As for me, I maintain the blank, fail-to-understand look!

Infact my roommate ordered the book a day before it got released and she sat one day and one night and finshed the book, next day she's all happy happy! The whole logic of 'magic' drives me away from reading the book...but some day if I find someone who has convinced me enough to read the book, I'll come back and let you all know what's so amazing about the HP series..until then, me remains the Harry Potter-ignorant-choose-to-be-ignorant-individual!!
